Cycle — Private Period Tracker

Cycle Terms of Service

Effective date: October 29, 2026
Publisher: BrightWeb Solutions
App: Cycle: Private Period Tracker (iPhone)

Cycle is a tool for tracking and understanding your own cycle. It describes patterns in what you log. It is not medical advice and it is not birth control. Cycle Pro is optional and billed by Apple.

1. Agreement

These terms are between you and BrightWeb Solutions (“we”, “us”) and cover your use of the Cycle app and this website. Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies to the app. If the two conflict, Apple’s agreement controls the app license and these terms control everything else. By downloading or using Cycle you agree to both. If you do not agree, please delete the app.

2. Who can use Cycle

Cycle is not directed to children under 13, and you should be at least 13 to use it. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use Cycle with a parent’s or guardian’s permission, especially before buying Cycle Pro.

3. Not medical advice, not birth control

4. Your data and your responsibilities

Cycle has no account and no server. Your logs are stored on your iPhone and are included in your device backups, which Apple manages. Our Privacy Policy explains this in detail.

5. Cycle Pro (optional purchase)

Logging, the calendar and predictions are available without paying. Cycle Pro unlocks extra features such as symptom patterns, pain by cycle day, a heads-up before symptoms, the doctor one-pager, answers in Ask that compare with your own logs, and custom symptoms. Which features are free and which are Pro can change in future versions, and we will describe the current split in the app and on the App Store page.

6. Using Cycle responsibly

Please do not misuse Cycle. For example, do not reverse engineer or copy the app, remove its protections, resell it or use it to break the law or harm others. Cycle is for your own personal, non-commercial use on your own devices. Please do not log another person’s health information without their permission.

7. Our content and third-party links

Cycle’s code, design, text, icon and brand belong to BrightWeb Solutions or its licensors, and we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app under Apple’s agreement. Your logs belong to you.

Cycle’s learn articles link to outside sources such as medical and government websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices. Cycle is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple, ACOG, the FDA or any other organization it mentions.

8. Updates, changes and availability

We may update, change, suspend or discontinue Cycle or any feature, and we may change these terms. When we make a material change we will update this page and its effective date, and will say so in the app’s release notes. Continuing to use Cycle after a change means you accept it. If you do not agree, stop using Cycle and delete it. Cycle may not be available in every country.

9. Disclaimer

Cycle is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promise that Cycle will be accurate, error-free, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose, and we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated here. Some places do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of this may not apply to you.

10. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, BrightWeb Solutions will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or any decision you make based on Cycle’s predictions or information. Our total liability for any claim related to Cycle is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Cycle in the 12 months before the claim or US $50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and your legal rights as a consumer where you live are not affected.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using Cycle at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end access to the app for anyone who breaks these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as 3, 9, 10 and 12) continue after you stop using Cycle.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that the laws of your country of residence may apply where consumer-protection law requires it. Please contact us first at the address below and we will try to resolve any issue informally. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of the Apple EULA, but is not responsible for Cycle, its support, or claims about it; those are handled by us as described in Apple’s agreement.
